*** There is not ONE Bible verse that approves homosexuality *** Leviticus 18:22 " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. Leviticus 20:13 " 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. "AIDS?" 2 Timothy 1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-- 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. Romans 1 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire." 2 Peter 2-6 "And reducing the cities of the Sodomites, and of the Gomorrhites, into ashes, condemned them to be overthrown, making them an example to those that should after act wickedly." 2 Timothy 3 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Genesis 19 : Sodom and Gomorrah Destroyed 4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom-both young and old-surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them." 6 Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him 7 and said, "No, my friends. Don't do this wicked thing. 24 Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah-from the LORD out of the heavens. Note: It is still called sodomy to this day! |

| OK....where does that leave us? Homosexuality is a sin, just like all other sins. All sin originates from Satan. Resist this temptation to sin, and it will flee from you. If you believe in the Son of God: Jesus Christ, He will give you the power to resist the Devil. God gave us the rules, the consequences, and the rewards. The choice is up to you!!! 1 John 3:8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work. James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Romans 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one ...." Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God ...." Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Peter 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 1 John 3:10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. Revelation 12:9 The great dragon was hurled down–that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. |
| Question: What if I was born homosexual? Answer: I don't believe that anyone is "born" this way, since this type of behavior is learned, against nature, and against God's law. I believe it is always a decision (choice). Are people born liars, adulterers, killers? All sin is a "Choice". **Let's say for arguement's sake, that you are born gay. We are all born of flesh. We have not yet made a "choice" how we will live, by whose rules, and if we will accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour. Since sin originates with the devil, we have no protection from the evil one until we are "Born-Again" in the spirit. This is the key! John 3 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Question: I am gay, or I have tempting thoughts; what do I do? Answer: If you are "born again", you have found salvation through Jesus Christ. You have the armour of the Holy Spirit. Continue to work on your relationship with Christ to maintain your spiritual strength and resist sin. Matthew 6 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
